Terms of service

Agreement and eligibility

By using ReefHarmony, you agree to these terms and the Community Guidelines. You must be at least 13 and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

Your account

Keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and should notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. We may limit or suspend accounts when necessary to protect people, animals, data, or the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give ReefHarmony a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve the service according to the visibility choices you make. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, legal, and prior-sharing needs.

Only upload content you have the right to share. You are responsible for image descriptions, claims, trade names, and other information you add.

Acceptable use

Do not harass people, promote animal cruelty, impersonate others, send spam, scrape the service at scale, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, probe accounts or infrastructure without written authorization, or use ReefHarmony to violate law or another person's rights.

Moderation

We may review reports and remove, restrict, or preserve content and accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the community, or comply with law. Context and severity matter. You may ask for a moderation decision to be reviewed through the contact page.

Reefkeeping information

Parameter ranges, equipment details, livestock notes, and community posts are informational. They are not veterinary, electrical, chemical, structural, or other professional advice. Verify decisions against your system, product instructions, qualified professionals, and the needs of the animals in your care.

Third-party services

Authentication, hosting, storage, external links, and promoted apps may be provided by third parties with separate terms. Apex View is an independent app from the maker of ReefHarmony and is not developed, maintained, supported, or endorsed by Neptune Systems.

Service changes and availability

Features may change as ReefHarmony improves. We may pause the service for maintenance or security and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where practical, notice will be provided for material changes or discontinuation.

Disclaimers and liability

ReefHarmony is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. To that same extent, ReefHarmony is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or harm resulting from reliance on user content. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
