Be constructive

Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Harassment, threats, hateful conduct, sexual exploitation, doxxing, and coordinated abuse are not allowed. Respect blocks and do not create accounts to evade them.

Put animal welfare first

Do not celebrate or encourage deliberate cruelty, unsafe collection, illegal trade, or knowingly reckless husbandry. Difficult outcomes and honest mistakes can be valuable learning material when shared with care and context.

Share responsibly

Distinguish personal experience from established guidance. Do not fabricate measurements, misrepresent livestock lineage or trade names, or make dangerous electrical, chemical, or medical claims. Add useful context when a technique has meaningful risk.

Respect ownership and privacy

Post only images and text you may lawfully share. Do not reveal private contact details, precise addresses, credentials, order records, or private conversations without permission. Use accurate image descriptions that help people understand the content.

No spam or manipulation

Repetitive promotion, deceptive links, fake engagement, impersonation, undisclosed paid endorsements, automated account creation, and attempts to manipulate follows or likes are prohibited. ReefHarmony does not currently provide a marketplace.

Reporting and enforcement

Use the safety menu on an account, tank, or post to report a concern. Reports are private and should include enough context for review. Enforcement may include a warning, content removal, feature limits, suspension, or account deletion depending on severity, history, and immediate risk.

Appeals and urgent concerns

To request review of a moderation decision, email safety@reefharmony.com from the address associated with your account and include the affected username and decision. ReefHarmony is not an emergency service; contact local authorities when there is an immediate threat to a person.
